The Jamtable Playbook

AI Commerce, imagine what's possible.

Possibly the world's most powerful platform.

Chapter 01 · The Story

Named after an experiment.
Built for an age of overload.

0% bought
vs.
0% bought
The Jam Table Experiment. Iyengar & Lepper, 2000. Shoppers faced with 24 jams rarely bought. Shoppers faced with 6 curated jams bought 10× more.

Reduce the noise. Guide the choice. People decide faster, trust more, and get better outcomes.

That's the thesis behind our name — and the thesis behind every screen we ship. The web got loud. AI made it louder. Customers now face 24 jams on every single decision: which bike, which part, which finance plan, which workshop slot.

Jamtable takes the 24 and presents the 6 that fit. Not by hiding inventory — by understanding intent, checking live stock, validating fitment, and answering in plain English.

Platform. Every channel.
Our first chapter

We started with motorcycles. A multi-franchise dealer, an aging system, a team that needed to sell tomorrow. We rebuilt the day from the counter up — and what we learned became the platform.

The platform

Now Jamtable runs any commerce operation that has inventory, customers, and a reason to answer faster than the next tab.

Chapter 02 · Flavour Choices

Four flavours. Four jobs. One table.

Every commerce operation runs on four jobs: bringing customers in, keeping them, serving them everywhere, and answering their questions. Pick the flavour that matches the gap — or take the whole jar.

Strawberry jam
01
Strawberry · Everyone loves

Pull every customer in, from every channel.

Your storefront, your showroom, your Google listing — one live catalogue, real-time stock, and click-and-collect from any counter. The flavour everyone reaches for first.

  • Omnichannel storefront with real-time stock
  • Click & collect from any location
  • Google & marketplace sync
Blueberry jam
02
Blueberry · Runs deep

Build ties that make switching unthinkable.

Loyalty, customer portals, service history, warranty — the deep, rich depth of blueberry accumulates over time. The connections that keep customers coming back long after the first taste.

  • B2B & customer portals with full service history
  • Loyalty program & tiered customer pricing
  • Serialization, warranty, recall management
Apricot jam
03
Apricot · Feels like home

Turn every visit into a reason to come back.

Customers don't stick with brands — they stick with feelings. Like warm apricot spread thick on a quiet morning, every touchpoint should feel familiar. Wrap every visit in the same comfort and they'll do the selling for you.

  • Personalised service history & rider profiles
  • Loyalty, rewards & referral programs
  • Post-purchase journeys that turn buyers into advocates
Blackberry jam
04
Blackberry · Knows your business

Ask anything. Get an answer that moves inventory.

Bold, complex, and impossible to ignore — ECHO AI is the layer that makes everything else taste better. Ask “what's slow-moving in Parramatta?” and get a reorder plan. “Who hasn't serviced in 12 months?” gets you an outreach list, ready to send.

  • Natural-language business queries
  • Agent skills: stocktake, outreach, reconciliation
  • MCP surface — plug into Claude, ChatGPT, your stack
Chapter 03 · How it works

Customer questions in. Live answers out.

Every question a customer asks is a jar on the shelf — open the right one and you win the sale. Here's the loop Jamtable runs, in real time, on every channel, to make sure you're always reaching for the right flavour.

Chapter 04 · Operations

The warehouse that routes itself.

Orders pour in from every channel. Jamtable's router decides — in milliseconds — where each line is picked, who picks it, and how it leaves the building. Like the best preserves, the most-loved stock stays closest to the front. The slow movers earn their place or get cleared off the shelf.

01
Orders from every channel, one queue. Web, POS, B2B, phone, marketplace — they land in the same queue. The router decides fulfilment location per line, not per order.
02
Hot stock near dispatch. Cold stock earns its shelf. Velocity data replans the slot map continuously. Fast movers stay close; dead stock gets surfaced for markdown or return.
03
Ship from anywhere — DC, store, or a supplier. Routing picks by cost, carrier, or fill rate — your rule, the system's work. Multi-location splits drop-ship lines to suppliers without the customer knowing.

Chapter 05 · Built in partnership

A playbook written in a real dealership — with a real partner.

Jamtable isn't a pitch deck. It's in daily production at Hawkesbury Motorcycles — a multi-franchise dealer that needed something better than what the shelf had to offer. Like a good jam, every recipe was tested on real toast before it ever went to market.

We didn't want another DMS that hands us a dashboard and walks away. We wanted a partner who'd sit at the counter and rebuild the day. That's what we built together — and now it's a platform anyone can pick up.

ECHO AI inside
The till that knows what you're selling.

While your team rings up a sale, Jamtable's AI reads the basket and surfaces the upsell, the cross-sell, the matching accessory, and the fitment check — in plain English, at the counter. Ask “What filter fits a 2021 CB500X?” and get the part, the stock, and the price before the customer finishes asking.

→ Upsell: add premium oil (+$28 margin)
→ Cross-sell: matching gloves in stock
→ Fitment: part matches 2021 CB500X
→ Model lookup from VIN

Chapter 07 · The founders

AL
Co-founder · Drag Bike Racing Expert

Adam Layton

30 years at the sharp end. Strip, stage, launch.

Adam has spent over 30 years inside the motorcycle world at its most intense — drag racing, where fractions of a second separate a trophy from a teardown. That obsession with precision and engine, hands in every build. He's the founder of APL Performance, where he's spent decades pushing the boundaries of what's possible on a motorcycle.

Road, track, strip, custom builds, and performance diagnostics — Adam has seen and touched every configuration a motorcycle can take. and knows the industry from the workshop floor up. When Jamtable writes code about warranty periods, service cycles or parts compatibility, Adam is the reason it matches reality.

Nigel Price

20 years building the things retailers actually use.

Nigel has spent 20 years in retail and e-commerce — operating inside the stack, not just selling it. He knows what a Saturday on the shop floor looks like, what an EOFY stocktake really costs, and what happens when your POS, your e-comm and your finance system don't speak the same language.

His focus is the product — architecting what the team builds, turning messy operational reality into software that feels obvious the moment you use it. Every feature in Jamtable starts with a real problem he's watched happen on a real shop floor.

  • 20 years retail & e-commerce operator
  • Product architect at Jamtable
  • Founder of Jamtable
Chapter 08 · The point

Customers are the focus.
Everything else is a distraction.

Good jam doesn't taste like anything else — and neither does a business that puts customers first. AI is only worth the jar it comes in if it helps a customer get an answer, a product, or a resolution faster and with more confidence than before. Everything else is just flavouring.

Attention, then trust.

The fun characters, the ocean, the warm colour — that's attention. It gets you to look. What you do after they look is trust: answer accurately, honour the price, ship on time.

Flexibility with intent.

Every business uses AI differently. Jamtable is the chassis — plug in your channels, your agents, your data. Use what helps. Ignore what doesn't.

No gap between promise and product.

If the page says it's in stock, it's in stock. If the agent quotes a price, the till honours it. Trust is earned in the last 100 metres.

Chapter 09 · Early access

The window is open. It won't stay that way.

The jar is open and the flavour is still fresh — but jars don't stay open forever. AI is rewriting commerce in real time and the gap between operators who picked their flavour early and those who didn't is already measurable. The ones who reach now shape the platform. The ones who wait pay full price for whatever's left on the shelf.

01
Trust, proven on the floor.

Live today at Hawkesbury Motorcycles. Every feature bled-in on a real shop floor before it ever shipped. We don't hand you a dashboard and walk away — we sit at the counter and rebuild the day with you.

02
The window is closing.

In 18 months, the customers who stayed on legacy systems won't be able to answer the questions their buyers ask. The gap between AI-native and AI-adjacent businesses is already measurable — and growing every quarter.

03
Early access is limited.

We're onboarding partners one at a time. Each one shapes the platform. Each one gets white-glove implementation, direct access to the founders, and pricing that reflects being early — not the pricing everyone else will pay.
